News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $82 million ( $50.2 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has started to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 9th January 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-19-37-49-59 and the Powerball of 22 and thus the annuitised $82 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $96 million ( $58.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 12th January 2019.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but two lucky ticket holders , one from Florida and one from West Virginia won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerpay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
